about me.

My name is Amy Astor-Lewis, & I have been a professional photographer since 2012.
Shortly after finishing my Art Foundation Diploma,
(for which I gratefully received a distinction & the Studentship Prize)
my career started, & I was asked to work for one of the University's tutors as a creative jewellery photographer.

A couple of years later I started photographing in what was one of London's most prestigious & exclusive members clubs,
The Wellington in Knightsbridge.
Here, I photographed an extensive array of shows,
including burlesque, fire, angle grinder, glitter balloon, hot wax & pole.

Since then my work has taken me to many places, including photographing high profile bands & DJ's, such as Slipknot at Alexandera Palace, & Fatman Scoop at the notorious Hip Hop Brunch.

Through my work at Hip Hop Brunch - a day time Hip Hop event - & 90's Brunch (hosted by the same founders) my work has been featured in a variety of magazines and articles, such as The Independent (as shown above), Time Out & The Metro.
